Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel

Beautiful boutique property. Fun and different. Staff doesn’t go out of their way to greet you but if you ask them for something they are courteous and helpful enough. The rooms are a good size and the Partial Ocean View was lovely, we liked getting to see the boardwalk as well. There are no coffee pots in the room but there is complimentary coffee in the lobby so no issue for us, we didn’t mind going down to get some. The kids were comfortable enough and honestly we had a great time and would stay again.

Beautiful room, very comfortable with a lovely view. The location was great, close to the beach and boardwalk. We went to the Stone Pony for a concert and it was a quick walk!

Breakfast was light. You ordered breakfast at the counter and then they called out your meal which was in a carry out box. I enjoyed the 2 multigrain toast with avocado spread, cherry tomatoes and a few pieces of red onion. I ordered hot tea and they had a few selection of teas. I took my breakfast to an outdoor seating which was fine. I was glad to check in at 2 pm instead 4 pm without paying an additional amount.

Accessibility to beach and the Boardwalk is great. There are some good restaurants and shops nearby. The room was comfortable and clean. The service at check in and out was excellent. There is also a beautiful pool and and seats and tables in a well manicured manicured area on the pool side of the building. There is a Bar with food and drink service at the pool. There also is a coffee shop with a pizza oven during the day. There also is a shop that sell ice cream, other treats, and some sundry items.

We came here for Nye 2025. The staff was very accommodating. Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, valet and bartenders. Shout out to Phil at the bar. We had a corner room on the 7th floor. Room was a very nice size. The bathroom was spotless and updated. Beautiful views of the city and ocean. One block to the boardwalk, bars and restaurants. Perfect place to stay. Thank you.
